... a hair-raising photograph !!!  + + + an additional sense of immediacy brought to an already extreme sport. Leaped from the top of the Gran Hotel Bali, Benidorm, Spain—billed as the tallest hotel in Europe, the BASE jumper is simultaneously floating and hurtling through this frame.  Unlike skydiving, BASE jumping involves parachuting from a fixed object such as a bridge, cliff, or dam. BASE is an acronym that stands for Building, Antenna, Span, Earth—the four most popular objects jumpers use for their sport.

p/s   captured this while staying here, upon arrival, before moving out for our tour round Spain. in 2009. We took the jeep safaris. This is a unique chance to discover the “Real Spain” and the spectacular Costa Blanca Mountain Range. We then went to the remote radio controlled yatch racing.This is clever fun!

We also did some biking tours along the coast and managed to then go to the high mountains  to  see the beautiful waterfalls and spring cascade into fabulous natural pools... we did have a dip in a lush, tropical paradise...the Algar Falls...Tired yet worth the trip!
