Starting today make the decision to try...,

...don't let the world or our own fears hold us back any longer from realizing the accomplishment of our dreams. Every accomplishment begins with a person deciding to try what dreams and vision that they may have in their hearts. Instead of just being someone with a creative imagination, and just being able to dream, we have to make efforts to try and live to become the person that we dream about being. There is only one possible way to ever see the dreams of our hearts come to fruition and that is to try.

Though there will be times in our lives that we may try and fail, we must know to try and keep trying. Winners are made by not only seeing failure at least once, but also by seeing that overcoming failure is the only way to truly get to the top. Starting today make the decision to try, don't let the world or our own fears hold us back any longer from realizing the accomplishment of our dreams...

... let's stay strong, cool and collected...

TQVM AlManar@PakCik, I can't agree more to your comments..."easier said than done".

PakCik, most of us were raised to ignore danger or violence, "damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!" Daily we push ourselves beyond our limits, until we lose our way home. We overtax our endocrine system and then wonder why diseases of the immune system are rampant. Creating boundaries and a comfort zone that we know and can depend on isn't a trivial exercise, it's a matter of survival. Consequently, perhaps we've moved our boundary lines so far away that they are almost irretrievable. Now we must go about the job of creating a sacred space for ourselves. That begins by realizing that we're separate from all other beings. Some who are spiritually sophisticated might balk and say, "That isn't true; we are all connected." Hmm, i would agree, but that protest misses an important step: we can't know connectedness with others without first knowing a sense of our own separateness. Any attempt at spiritualizing or intellectualizing this concept is folly without the important discovery of self. So many have tried to bypass this crucial step and have come to dire straits, from evangelists who are now imprisoned to New Age gurus who are now looking for methods to combat their depression….
Well PakCik, what we are aware of, we are in control of; what we are not aware of, is in control of us. To find our way is to find our own bliss…Thus, we are all standing on the edge of a cliff all the time, everyday. A cliff we are all going over. Our choice isn’t about that. Our choice is whether or not we want to go kicking and screaming….or whether we want to open our eyes and our hearts to what happens once we start to fall…regardless of the shelter…With Allah's grace, hopefully, perhaps the decision to go into the direction of the road less travelled is bliss!

p/s… it’s been some time ago….glad to hear from you again PakCik ;-)
