My Raya-Merdeka Fiesta Celebration starts with these...

...spent my entire time over the weekend, revisiting reading this remarkable piece. Read it  three times already. The Japanese Occupation is a must-read book to rekindle the patriotism spirit, especially good- read amongst the younger generations  and of course to all countrymen who love this country - to be more appreciative of what it means to be living and staying in the land of the free whereby freedom is not that easy to attain. The pictures in the book explained them all...what it means of survival and surviving and to be able to survive during those days...Our Nation Unsung Heroes have made this a reality! Their fallen souls should be honoured. Complimentary note -  BRAVO to the writer for such magnificent piece - for without his time and commitment highlighting the scenes we would be such naive citizens of the nation's history and still living in the 'dark'...So, wake up Malaysians - Peace is here to stay! We have to unite to uphold our country's peace and dignity. Hopefully. history doesn't repeat itself ! United we stand, divided we fall...Never take democracy for granted.
