 ...HAPPY  BIRTHDAY  MALAYSIA... 

This year's 54th Independence Day celebration; 31 August 2011 will be postponed to 16th September where it will be held in conjunction with Malaysia Day. Due to the August 31 celebration which falls on the same day as  Hari Raya Puasa, a special Merdeka-Raya celebration will be taking place and the theme for this double Merdeka-Hari Raya celebration is: 

'1Malaysia : Transformation Success, People Prosper'

“1Malaysia : Transformasi Berjaya, Rakyat Sejahtera”

 

p/s   These songs remind me  of the days before i left the country. We were requested to sing a few patriotic songs before we depart to our respective destinations during our final week of pre session orientation days in KL. A very touching moment indeed for all of us...leaving our homeland to seek knowledge, skills and broaden our perspectives abroad... huhu...sob sob...I was in tears singing  all those songs..."so much  of patriotism in you"... hmm  that was what my friends would say to me!!!  Well, i would reply.. "YES  I  AM and will ALWAYS  DO"....;-)

     

HISTORY  MUST  NEVER  BE  FORGOTTEN,

THAT  IS  AN  UNDENIABLE  TRUTH.

... Fellow Malaysians, never ever take this peace and freedom of speech for granted.

We all begin from nothing, that we were all poor once upon a time,  that we were all conquered people once upon a time, that we all regardless of race have sacrificed a lot to get here and have the internet to make comments, that the Jalur Gemilang is ever the one that unites us all, that the 31st August is a date to be remembered all time, that 13th May incident must never be repeated at all cost.

Ask  not  what  the  country  can  do  for  us,

but   what  can  we  do  for  the  country.
