Sesuatu yang tak disangka
Seringkali mendatangi kita
Itukah suratan dalam kehidupan
Atau hanya satu kebetulan
Kita asyik membicarakan
Persoalan hidup dan pilihan
Sedang kejujuran semakin berkurang
Masih tiada bertemu jawapan
Walau kita dihadapkan
Dengan berbagai pilihan
Mengapa sering terjadi
Pilihan tak menepati
Hingga amat menakutkan
Menghadapi masa depan
Seolah telah terhapus
Sebuah kehidupan yang kudus
Pertemuan sekali ini
Bagi diriku amat bererti
Tetapi ku bimbang untuk menyatakan
Bimbangkan berulang kesilapan
Seringkali mendatangi kita
Itukah suratan dalam kehidupan
Atau hanya satu kebetulan
Kita asyik membicarakan
Persoalan hidup dan pilihan
Sedang kejujuran semakin berkurang
Masih tiada bertemu jawapan
Walau kita dihadapkan
Dengan berbagai pilihan
Mengapa sering terjadi
Pilihan tak menepati
Hingga amat menakutkan
Menghadapi masa depan
Seolah telah terhapus
Sebuah kehidupan yang kudus
Pertemuan sekali ini
Bagi diriku amat bererti
Tetapi ku bimbang untuk menyatakan
Bimbangkan berulang kesilapan
... one of the best song i love to hear. It's the voices of Remy, Kenny and Martin over the radio as I was driving to do some errands this morning. The stress of being on the congested road was unbearable...most of the time....!!! traffic was slow and lanes seemed to be increasing...hah...typical scenario in the cities... from a three-lanes turns out to grow in number...perhaps four or four-and- a-half... !!!???!!! Anyway, everyone seemed to be happy with what they've been doing...and as for me, I, too, joined the crowd and hassle through....hhhm bawak roti bagus jugak ni....anyway, do i really have a choice???? Sometimes, I just wonder...where have all our patience gone to? kekadang pemandu lain ni menguji kesabaran kite jugak ni...larat ke asyik kite je nak bagi laluan kat diaaa...mentang2 la lady driver noooo, suka hati je depa slumberland nak cilok...menguji kesabaran saya betui la depa ni. Thank God...Alhamdulillah.... my new handsome Japanese buddy, Isyoda, (bertahun menabung baru dapat kahwin ngan dia ni !!??!!) had not get any 'bruises' (scratches la ni...) or had a bumped from someones elses' ....'touch wood' as some might say.... well, can't afford to see my loved one hurt....oh no no no pleaseeee!!!...
Talking about the song now, it's worth the hearing... simply love it!
The words/lyrics itself was mesmerizing...very meaningful indeed to ponder!
Well, it is easy to be negative about past mistakes and unhappiness. But it is much more healing to look at ourselves and our past in the light of experience, acceptance, and growth.
Our past is a series of lessons that advance us to higher levels of living and loving. The relationships we entered, stayed in, or ended, taught us necessary lessons.
Some of us have emerged from the most painful circumstances with strong insights about who we are and what we want. Our mistakes? Necessary.
Our frustrations, failures, and sometimes stumbling attempts at growth and progress? Necessary too.
Each step of the way, we learned. We went through exactly the experiences we need to, to become who we are today. Each step of the way, we progressed.
Is our past a mistake? No. The only mistake we can make is mistaking that for the truth.

Every hardship is an opportunity to strengthen ourselves, to temper our life and make it shine with greater luster.
Today, God, help me let go of negative thoughts I may be harboring about my past circumstances or relationships...I can accept, with gratitude, all that has brought me to today...Alhamdulillah...

At one time I looked at various aspects of life sentimentally and philosophically - at the age of romance. But life carries with it responsibility. Our Prophet warned that we all are like sheperds for that reason we are responsible for the well being of those under our charge. that is life. Remember 'no man is an island', hence we are responsible for someone. In Islam our responsibilty is not just 'us' per se.
AsSalam AlManar,
No man is an island...TQVM for the very good gentle reminder for me to take note. InsyaAllah, will keep those words close to my chest. Syukran.
p/s look forward to visiting Pulau Kapas and Pulau Perhentian - hopping on two islands ;-D...one fine day, Godwilling...
